Tomorrow will be another hot, sunny day, with a high approaching 90. Rain chances enter the forecast Wednesday, which will be another unseasonably hot day. Temperatures should cool back down to normal highs in the 70s by this weekend, though.

Today is also Truman Day in Missouri, to honor President Harry S Truman, the only president from the Show-Me State. Several government offices, including all Greene County offices, will be closed today.

• News-Leader: Patrol lifts ban on regattas, fishing tournaments. The Missouri Water Patrol’s ban on regattas and fishing events on area lakes has been lifted. But water levels remain high, and the patrol warns boaters to be extra cautious. 
• KY3: Officials coming up with plan for Pointe Royale. As floodwaters receded, the foundations of some Pointe Royale homes were at risk of falling into Lake Taneycomo. Branson officials are coming up with a plan to save the homes.
• KSPR: Missouri Senate looking at texting-while-driving ban. The Missouri House has passed a safety bill that bans texting for all drivers; a similar measure is making its way through the Senate. The Legislature has one more week left in this year’s session.
