A cold blast will hit the Ozarks today, with precipitation likely. The day will start at a high of about 41 and fall throughout the day, with the temperature hitting 27 by 5 p.m.

Before the blast hits, however, Springfield will be having its annual Christmas Parade downtown. It will begin at 1 p.m. today at South and Elm.
