It is going to be another chilly day. Temperatures are below freezing across much of the area early today and will warm to near 50 degrees this afternoon. There will see mostly sunny skies and north winds will be light today.

Temperatures are going to gradually warm up during the first half of the workweek.

Monday will be patchy frost before 8am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 56 and a low around 35.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 60 and a low around 38.

Halloween will be sunny with a high near 61 and a low around 42.

  • KY3: Dancers show their ‘Thriller’ moves on C-Street. Zombies came alive on Saturday night on Commercial Street. After weeks of practice, the volunteer dancers showed off their movies to Michael Jackson’s hit “Thriller.”  The C-Street Zombie Walk has become a yearly event and attracts hundreds of fans.   • OzarksFirst: Wienermobile Rolls in to cheer up ‘Saddest Little Cardinal’. A local Springfield boy dubbed “The Saddest Little Cardinal” by his family got a special treat Saturday. The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile made a special trip to Springfield in an effort to cheer up four-year-old Cy after a video of him crying over the Cardinals NLCS play-off loss went viral. Cy and family and friend were treated to a hot dog cook out, a tour of the Wienermobile, and received some special gifts from Oscar Mayer.
  • KY3: Kids take their mark for the Zombie Run Walk. Kids from around the Ozarks got out early start Saturday morning to run in the Zombie Run Walk.  It’s part of Bass Pro Shops Rock for Kids events.
