- KY3: Highways 14, CC will get small fixes . Residents and the Missouri Department of Transportation have long realized the importance of widening these roads to four lanes. Plans for such upgrades have been discussed for years between city, county, and state leaders. However, MoDOT is not letting the lack of money stop it from making some incremental improvements. In fact, it has several smaller projects in the works to help traffic for the time being.
- KMSU: Missouri State University names its 11th president. MSU Board of Governors Chair Gordon Elliott made the announcement in the Plaster Student Union Theatre before a large crowd. Clifton M. “Clif” Smart III has been selected as the school’s 11th president. He’s been Interim president since March 2012, when former president Dr. James E.
