The wind is going to be gusting around 30 mph this afternoon from the southwest, and with plenty of sun and a warm start temperatures will easily be in the the low 80s.
Wednesday, a cold front will move through the Ozarks bringing the moisture back. Thunderstorms could get severe. The high will be near 69 and the low around 40.
Thursday will be near 64 with a low around 42.
Friday, the temperatures once again warm up to the low 70s.
The weekend forecast is sunny and warm.

- KSMU: Kohl’s donates over $45,000 to Mercy injury prevention program. A local hospital and a retail store are joining hands to launch a new campaign to get young people to buckle up. Mercy Hospital Springfield is teaming up with Kohl’s to launch the campaign, called “Kohl’s Rock Your Seatbelt.”
