Daily brief (9/11): Top picks from the Springfield media

Tonight will be clear, with a low around 60.

Tomorrow will be the same, high in the 80’s and lows around 60.

Clouds will begin to form on Thursday, bringing the 60% chance of shower with the highs in the 80s and lows around 60.

As a front moves through the region, Friday,  another 60% chance of rain of rain and storms are expected.  The environment will not be conducive to the severe storms we experienced last weekend.  The front is predicted to move through quickly allowing for some sun and the highs in the uppers 70s.

  • KY3: Pot ordinance packs a full house. Council members are considering four new bills, three of which would amend the ordinance and the fourth would repeal it.  (Other coverage: News-Leader, OzarksFirst, KSPR)
  • News-Leader: Judge hears suit over Missouri disturbing worship law.The law makes it a misdemeanor to intentionally disturb or interrupt a “house of worship” with profane language, rude or indecent behavior or noise that breaks the solemnity of the service.
