A chance of rain remains for tomorrow as well, although it will be another hot one with a high around 100. Saturday will be hot and dry, but another chance of rain enters the forecast Sunday.
It’s also official: This July was the driest on record — and the fourth hottest — for Springfield.

- KSPR: Salvation Army gets help from local growers. Growers with the Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market are contributing some of their wares to the Salvation Army to help the food pantry.
- KY3: Fire destroys Taney County condominium complex.The Majestic Condominiums complex on Table Rock Lake near Branson burned through the night, and several people lost everything. No injuries were reported. (Other coverage: News-Leader)
