  • News-Leader: Veteran housing funding sought for Housing Authority of Springfield. Springfield’s housing authority is looking to outside funding to help administer a program for veteran housing vouchers.
  • OzarksFirstFive departments battle 40-50 acre fire near Marionville MO. Around 1 p.m., firefighters from Marionville city and rural joined crews from Billings, Crane, and Mt. Vernon to extinguish the fire along Highway 60 and Farm Road 230.
  • KY3Fire truck flips responding to blaze near Branson.One of the fire district’s water tankers crashed when the driver attempted to make a left hand turn from Highway 65 onto Bear Creek Road.  All three firefighters sustained minor injuries.  (Other coverage:  Ozarks First)
