Today will be another mostly sunny day, and the high will be 56. Clouds move in tonight, with thunderstorms likely tomorrow.

Tuesday will be cloudy, with a high of 59. Wind gusts could reach speeds of up to 25 mph. Up to quarter-inch of rain could fall during the day, with more expected where thunderstorms hit. Thunderstorms will continue into the night, with another quarter-inch possible.

Skies should clear by Wednesday, and a high of 60 is expected.

They decided to revise the plan further after reviewing what worked and what didn’t in the fire in which the shelter’s 185 residents were evacuated.
  • KSPR: New councilman sees public safety as key to city’s future. Jeff Seifried, manager of regional development for the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, is the City Council’s new member for Zone 1, which uses the most police and fire services in the city.
  • KY3: Local Girl Scouts participating in Cookie Share program. Girl Scouts are selling cookies, and the Cookie Share program allows people to donate a box of cookies to active-duty soldiers serving around the world.
  • KSMU: Panther Pride store provides jobs for victims of domestic violence. Drury University’s Panther Pride store has hired three people from the Harmony House shelter to help provide jobs and get the victims of domestic violence experience in the workplace.
