  • News-Leader: State lawmakers unveil ‘blueprint for Missouri.’ Missouri House Republicans have developed a long-term plan that builds on past ideas. Among the ideas: Changing the prevailing-wage and workers-compensation laws, passing public-school reform, and letting pharmacists decline to fill certain prescriptions for drugs they have a “moral objection” to.
  • KY3: Joplin-area couple moves into new home for the holidays. Thelma and Don Epperson, who lost their home in the May tornado, received a new home, built with the help of volunteers from James River Assembly Church and members of the community. (Other coverage: OzarksFirst)
