  • KY3: Race-track developer waiting on appeal process. An appeal has been filed against Taney County Planning and Zoning Commission’s decision to allow a NASCAR-style race track to move forward. Public comment is allowed for 90 days, and another hearing will be Nov. 16.
  • News-Leader: Rules altered for City Council hearing. The Springfield City Council is suspending its usual public-comment rules regarding a proposal to enforce e-Verify immigration rules.   • OzarksFirst: KSFX becomes KOZL. The television station is changing its call letters and expanding its local news programming from 12 hours a week to 24. It will no longer be a Fox affiliate after Sept. 1.
