A plan for a 477-acre development that included an 8,000-seat equestrian arena has been withdrawn after a 3½-hour public meeting with the Christian County Planning and Zoning Commission.   • News-Leader: County officials debate park tax. The proposed measure, which would appear on the August ballot if it proceeds, would add one-eighth of a cent to Greene County’s sales tax to raise funds for the city-county park system.
  • OzarksFirst: No state sales tax on ‘green’ appliances this week. Energy Star-rated appliances are exempt from state sales tax this week.
