Today will be mostly sunny but cold, with a high of about 24. Wind chills will dip below zero early in the day; a wind-chill advisory is in effect for much of the Ozarks until 9 a.m.

Today’s picks:

  • News-Leader: Heated debate over Proposition B not over. Some legislators are considering amending the initiative-driven proposition, which was designed to control large dog-breeding operations.
  • KY3: Salvation Army visiting area nursing homes. Volunteers stopped by 25 area nursing homes.
  • OzarksFirst (KOLR/KSFX): Strafford School District may amend school calendar tonight. The new system would shorten the summer and spread the days off throughout the year, shortening semesters. The meeting is at 7 in the school auditorium.
