  • News-Leader: General manager of City Utilities to retire. John Twitty, who has been CU’s general manager since 2002, will retire from Springfield’s city-owned utility in June. (Other coverage: KY3, KSMU, KSPR, OzarksFirst [KOLR/KSFX])
  • KY3: Retail sales rose nationally, locally in November. Sales continue to increase, showing a glimmer of good news in an uncertain economy.
  • OzarksFirst (KOLR/KSFX): Downtown Springfield retailers expect upturn in sales. Some downtown stores are encouraged by the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
  • News-Leader: Farewell to veterans of Greene County prosecutor’s office. Prosecutor Darrell Moore and Assistant Prosecutor Jill Geary Patterson will be leaving in the coming weeks.
