After a cold morning, the sun will peek out today, and the high should hit the mid-50s. The area made it through a tornado warning and heavy rains yesterday without any major damage reported.

Thursday is the Turkey Trot 5K, sponsored by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board. It’s the biggest run in the Ozarks, and one of the biggest Turkey trots in the country, so consider burning off a few calories before the Thanksgiving feast.
