  • KY3: Monthlong investigation uncovers Stone County theft ring. Five people from Reeds Spring and one from Galena have been charged with multiple crimes related to a spate of thefts in the area.
  • KSPR: Highway Patrol reviewing shooting of Hollister man by sheriff’s deputy. Taney County Sheriff Jimmie Russell said Charles “Jordan” Caughlan was shot Thursday after he lunged at the officers with a knife and threatened to kill them.
  • Ozarks First (KOLR/KSFX): ‘Brick-pulling’ marks beginning of yearlong renovation project on downtown square. The inner square of Springfield’s Park Central Square is about to receive a $1.78 million makeover.
  • News-Leader: Campbell Avenue bridge over Fassnight to open early. Crews have finished construction, and Campbell Avenue will reopen to traffic Monday.
