  • News-Leader: Search continues for SUV in fatal crash. The Highway Patrol is looking for a dark SUV that is believed to have caused the crash that killed a brother and sister.
  • OzarksFirst (KOLR/KSFX): St. John’s pitches plans for new facility. The Springfield City Council got a glimpse of a new 48-bed orthopedic hospital planned for U.S. 65 and Evans Road.
  • Election: KY3: Hartzler says she’s been promised a committee seat. At a debate Tuesday, Republican Vicki Hartzler, who is running against incumbent Democrat Ike Skelton for Missouri’s 4th Congressional District, said she’s been promised a seat on the Armed Services Committee if the Republicans take over the House.
  • KSMU: Springfield gets $2.5 million. The city has received the federal funding as part of Missouri’s Work Assistance Program to help put people back to work.
