Today’s picks:

  • KSPR: Branson bans smoking in city buildings, cars. City-owned buildings in the Taney County city are going smoke-free.
  • News-Leader: Preliminary report card gives good grades to Springfield Public Schools. Springfield’s district hit 13 of 14 benchmarks set by the state.
  • OzarksFirst (KOLR/KSFX): Parks at Table Rock Lake close for season today.
  • KY3: Walnut Grove teachers and students bridge budget gap. The school district has to cut its budget, meaning teachers and others are picking up more duties to help save money.
